Doug Bass, age 23, of Douglasville, GA (Paulding County), passed away on December 12, 2017. He was born on June 14, 1994, in Austell, GA. Doug worked as a welder for Crane Masters for several years. He enjoyed trout fishing the Tallulah River, off roading, eating spicy food, working with his hands, and guns and knives. Doug had the most contagious smile and was always there to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.

Survivors include his mother, Vicki Lynn & Douglas Gazaway of Douglasville, GA; father, Kenneth & Karen Bass of Kennesaw, GA; girlfriend, Briana Ferrell, step-sister, Mariah Gazaway of Newnan, GA; grandparents, Novis Gazaway of Kennesaw, GA, and Geneva Martin Bass of Kennesaw, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017, at 2:00 PM from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Dan Cain officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 17, 2017, from 5 PM until 8 PM
