Gene Spears, age 70, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. He was born on June 1, 1947, in Atlanta, GA, and was preceded in death by his father, Maxie Eugene Spears, and grandmother Lula Bell. Mr. Spears worked for the City of Smyrna for 7 years and was a member of Dallas First Baptist Church.

Survivors include sisters, Pat Levesque of Dallas, GA, and Lula Bishop of Dallas, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017, at 1 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Don Rackley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 10, 2017, from 12 PM until 1 PM.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Heart Association.
