Ira Eugene Fuller, JR, age 72, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017. He was born on January 25, 1945, in Atlanta, GA, to the late Ira Eugene & Mary Inez Fuller. Mr. Fuller was a proud United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War, retired from BellSouth after 25 years of service. He was the track operator at Southeastern Dragway for 15 years, and a loving husband, father and family man.


Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Diane Hardy Fuller of Hiram, GA; children, Justin Ira & Lara Fuller of Hiram, GA, and Natalie Suzanne & Joshua Higgins of Hiram, GA; sister, Sonya Diane Fuller of Rome, GA; grandchildren, Jack Fuller, Lily Fuller, Mollie Fuller, William Fuller, Katelyn Higgins, and Caroline Higgins; nephew Brannon Wooten and a number of other relatives.


Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017, at 11 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Dr. Todd Gaddis, Mr. Justin Fuller, Reverend Don Rackley and Mr. Neil Black officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. Todd Hunt, Jeb Gordon, John Gordon, Ben Toole, Chuck Hardy, and Lee Burger will serve as pallbearers. Jerry Tucker, Bill Garren, Bill Halsac, and Robert Mayfield will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 17, 2017, from 4:30 PM until 8:30 PM


In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the VFW.
