Margie Dale Pittman, age 79, of Acworth, GA, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017. She was born on May 17, 1938, in Woodstock, GA, to the late Samuel Asbury & Sarah Clark, and was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Turner. Mrs. Pittman worked at Cobb County School System as a custodian for 15 years and was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Luther Pittman; son, George & Sandra Pittman of Temple, GA; daughters, Becky Pittman of Dallas, GA, and Theresa Young of Douglasville, GA; sisters, Jeanette Ezell of Acworth, GA, Ann McCurley of Acworth, GA and Hazel Cordell of Acworth, GA; eight grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2017, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Harold Turner and Reverend Jimmy Tibbitts officiating. Interment will follow in Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, July 1, 2017, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
