Goldie Fields, age 93, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. She was born on February 2, 1924, in West Liberty, Kentucky, to the late Doc & Rachel Eldrige, and was preceded in death by seven sisters and two brothers. Ms. Fields was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness in 1959 and has been a faithful witness for over 58 years serving at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Villa Rica, GA. She enjoyed teaching the Bible and gardening.

Survivors include daughters, Alice & Robert Pruitt of Douglasville, GA, and Ruth Ann Miller & Wendell Miller of Dallas, GA; grandchildren; Wendell Lee (Candy) Miller, JR, Wayne (Diane) Miller, Tim (Doreen) Miller, Cathy (Michael) Payne, Allison (Donnie) Carney, Gwendolyn Parrish, Mark (Tonya) Childers, and Chris (Eva) Pruitt, twenty-three great-grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren, and a number of other relatives.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at 2:30 PM, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Villa, Rica, GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1535 Lake Paradise Road, Villa Rica, GA 30180.
