Marvin Gene White age 79, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on April 1, 2017. He was born on June 16, 1937, in Union City, Tennessee, to the late Robert L. and Elsie Iva White, and was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Elizabeth Wood White, son Dave Gazaway, sister Pat White , brother Jimmy White, and daughter-in-law Cathy Gazaway. Mr White was self-employed as a plumber for more than 50 years.

Survivors included sons, Jerry Gazaway of Dallas, Georgia, Lonnie and Penny White of Dallas, Georgia, Jack Gazaway of Dallas, Georgia, Robbie and Sonya White of Jasper, Georgia, and Roger and Leslie Bacon of Temple, Georgia. Daughters June and Steve Furtado of Dallas, Georgia, and Annette and Joe Gunter of Dallas, Georgia.

Funeral Services will be held on April 5, 2017, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Keith Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Harmony Cemetery , Mableton, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday April 4, 2017 , from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Joe Nix, Andy Collins, John Nix, Jason White, Daniel Hicks, and Steve Furtado.
