Carolyn Jones, age 85, a long time resident of Marietta, GA, since 1968, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. She was born on August 10, 1931, in Huntsville, AL, and was the youngest of three children, born to the late Clyde & Mattie Amos, and was preceded in death by sister and brother-in-law, Sara & Horace Chancellor of Leeds, AL, and brother, Wayne Amos of Birmingham, AL. Ms. Jones was employed at Lockheed Martin for several years and retired from Target Department Stores. Carolyn was a devout Alabama football fan “Roll Tide”.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra & Roger Williams of Kennesaw, GA.

According to Ms. Jones’ wishes, her body was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
