Peter Werner Chason, age 68, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016. He was born on April 6, 1948, in Straubing, Germany. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Chason and brother, Clifford Chason. Mr. Chason was a district manager for Springleaf Financial, where he was employed for over forty years.

 

Survivors include his loving wife of almost forty five years, Angela Chason of Rockmart, GA; daughters Kristie Keown & husband, Blake of Temple, GA, Erica Chason of Rockmart, GA; grandchildren, Hannah & Lily Keown of Temple, GA and mother, Gerda Somerfeld Chason of Bainbridge, GA.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Creekside Golf and Country Club located at 591 Westchester Club Drive, Hiram, GA 30141. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Country Club.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests that donations be made to Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, in memory of Peter Werner Chason.
