Rudy S. Weddle, age 86, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016. He was born on November 21, 1929, in Roanoke, VA, to the late Hobert Lee Weddle & Erma Simmons Weddle. Mr. Weddle was an Army veteran, served in the Korean War, and was awarded a Purple Heart. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church in Roanoke, VA.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jeane Rogers Weddle of Dallas, GA; children, Jenny Sue & Al Campbell of Roanoke, VA, Scott Keith Weddle of Chicago, IL, Suzy & Reverend Jason Cook of Roanoke, VA; step-daughters, Kelley Jean & Bill McDonald of Acworth, GA, Christina Lynne & Andy Green of Villa Rica, GA, and Constance Renee & Duane Johnson of Acworth, GA; sister, Phyllis Littlefield of Sharpsburg, GA; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; great-grandchild, Wyatt Sitterson of Richmond, VA; several nieces & nephews.

In accordance to his wishes, Mr. Weddle has been cremated. Services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, announced by the family at a later date.
