Should today's high school athletes be allowed to participate in multi-sports activities?  If they do, should they be penalized by coaches for doing so?

It's a tough call.   My daughter as a freshman tried to do school volleyball and club soccer and it was hard on her and both coaches were ticked off if she had to miss their activity for a special activity with the other team.

I'd lean towards no because double practices are tough on young bodies.   We believe that the dual practices were one factor that led to my daughter's ACL tearing her freshman year.

It's a shame, but you pretty much have to decide what you want to do and just do it unless the seasons don't overlap.
