Nantz

Mrs. Gail M. Nantz, age 55, of Powder Springs, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2005. She was born on November 6, 1949 in Cedartown to the late U. Samuel and Connie Mae McDowell. She was an Insurance Specialist for Wellstar Cobb Hospital and a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Hiram.

Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Roy A. (Tony) Nantz; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Cathy Jones of McDonough, GA, Michael and Linda Jones of Dallas, Jeff and Laura Jones of Dallas and Mark and Angela Buckner of Douglasville; daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca Nantz of Powder Springs, Melisa and Michael Stenger of Powder Springs, Cindy Blair of Douglasville and Tonya Buckner of Mobile, AL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ellis and Jean McDowell of Douglasville, John and Frances McDowell of Douglasville, Sam and Marie McDowell of Powder Springs, Robert and Rosemary McDowell of Powder Springs and Gary and Gaye McDowell of Cordova, Alaska; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille and Calvin Phillips of Cedartown and Betty and Gene Thomason of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Cassie Craig, Ashlee Evans, Heather, Mark, and Matthew Buckner, Tyler, Conner and A. J. Jones, Kaitlyn Stenger; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. from Antioch Baptist Church in Cedartown with Dr. Tim Walker and Reverend Farren Roper officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.

Our hearts truley go out to the family of Mrs. Gail Nantz. We were so sad to hear of her passing. You will all be in our hearts and our prayers.
