Clark Funeral Home Posted July 26, 2016 Report Share Posted July 26, 2016 (edited) Cody Preston Light, age 34, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016. He was born on October 19, 1981, in Newport, AR, and was preceded in death by his mother, Kim Light. Cody worked for Home Depot in Acworth, GA, as a rental mechanic and was of Southern Baptist Faith. He enjoyed his family, mud riding, riding his motorcycling, and wheeling and dealing. Survivors include his father, Charles P. Light of Dallas, GA; brother Preston Light of Dallas, GA; sisters, Shiloh & Charles Dirksen of Dallas, GA, and Sheyenne Light of Dallas, GA; step-brother, Eddie Ross of Texas; step-sister, Brandy & Jason Long of Rome, GA; nieces Kimberly Light and Saveya Light. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 29, 2016, from 4 PM until 8 PM, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Paulding County Animal Control at 779 Industrial BLVD North, Dallas, GA 30132, in Cody Light’s name.
