Mr. Charles Leonard McLane, age 78, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Thursday afternoon, July 14, 2016, at his residence.

 

Mr. McLane was born in Hart County, GA, on October 4, 1937, the son of the late Charlie Earl McLane and Nellie Gertrude Vickery McLane. He had been a resident of Dallas and Paulding County the greater part of his life. Prior to retirement, Mr. McLane was the owner and operator of Cobb Heating and Air Conditioning for a number of years before it merged with Cool-Ray.

 

Mr. McLane is survived by his wife, Myrna Kesler McLane, who he married on October 9, 1954; two daughters, Debra Lynne McLane Nix and Donna Michele McLane Atkins; one granddaughter, Bailey Andrews; one grandson, Rocky Moore; three great-grandchildren, Sway Andrews, Aria Andrews and Wesley Moore.

 

A crypt-side memorial service for Mr. McLane will be held on Saturday afternoon, July 16, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the mausoleum at Sunset Memory Gardens, 790 Indian Mounds Road, Cartersville, GA, with Rev. Keith Guyton officiating. Entombment will follow.
