Shirley Edwards, age 69, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016. She was born on March 4, 1947, in Holly Pond, AL, to the late James Otis Grant & Lilly Bell Tidwell Grant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Joe Lee Grant & Alvin Grant.

 

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Mark Edwards of Dallas, GA; son, Randell Edwards & wife, Denise of Douglasville, GA; daughter, Marcia Davis & husband, William of Temple, GA; brother, Dwight Grant & wife, Suzie of Arab, AL; sisters, Mozelle Vandiver of Arab, AL & Imogene Kriter of Arab, AL; grandchildren, Brittnee Howell, Courtnee Watson & husband, Aaron, Alicia Edwards, Melissa (Lou) Johnson & husband, Shannon, Phillip Davis; great-grandchildren, Coby Watson, Tydus Hall, Adalee Watson; many nieces & nephews.

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Edwards will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016, at 2:00 PM, from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Thomas Cole & Phillip Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Melrose Hills Memorial Park in Villa Rica, GA.

 

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 19, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
