Effie Frances Edge, age 97, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016. She was born on January 18, 1919, in Conyers, GA, to the late Charles & Mittie Fuller, and was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Edge, and son-in-law, Bill Gable. Mrs. Edge retired from Arrow Shirt Company as a seamstress, and was a member of Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church in East Point.

 

Survivors include sons, Gary W. & Sharon Edge of Jonesboro, GA, and Sam & Susie Edge of Newnan, GA; daughter, Margaret Gable of Hiram, GA; sister-in-law, Mary Fuller of Conyers, GA; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

 

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at 1:30 PM, from Eastview Cemetery, with family and friends officiating.
