Steven Lee Pace- July 25, 1957 - April 25, 2016

Steven Lee Pace, 58, of Ann Arbor, MI, formerly of Villa Rica, GA, passed away on April 25, 2016. Steve was born on July 25, 1957, in Villa Rica, GA, to Lonnie and Norma (Browning) Pace.

 

Steve attended schools in Carroll and Paulding Counties and worked in the warehouse industries. However, most important in his life was his family, spirituality, and music. The Pace family is known in Georgia for praising the Lord through song. Steve and his siblings were harmonizing in church over 50 years ago. Steve also loved the music of his time and could sound like Elvis.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved grandparents, especially Nancy Grace (Browning) Pace and Hattie Mae Noland Holt.

 

Steve is survived by his wife, Linda Mason Pace; daughter, Ashley Pace Reed (Tyler) of Magnolia, AR; step-children, Shannon (Greg) Farrey of Pittsfield Township, MI; Maren Sharrow (Greg) of Cherry Hill, NJ and John Coleman (Julia) of Washington, DC; grandson, Elijah Reed, Evan and Henry Sharrow and Madalyn Farrey; his first wife and good friend, Ann (Weisner) Pace. He is also survived by brothers, Kendall Pace (Rhonda), Kevin Pace (Michelle); sister, Renee Hill (Wendall); many aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Pace will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at 4:00 PM, from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Doug Bearden, Reverend Todd Brown and Reverend Wendell Rush officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ken Williams, Tim Williams, Terry Pace, Lannie Wisener, David Pace, Lee Robinson, Seth Hill and Daniel Williams.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 30, 2016, prior to the service, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.

 

Flowers are graciously accepted by the family.
