JoAnne Jones, age 74 of Dallas, GA passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulus F. and Nellie B. Gable and a son, Cary Michael Jones. She was affectionately known as Nana, Mama Red, Jo Lucy and Aunt JoAnne. She was also known for Red’s Diner where all were welcome and the food was good. She and her husband Bobbie were avid bowlers.

 

Survivors include her husband, Bobbie Joe Jones, of Dallas, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Scott and Jeanne Jones of Dallas, GA; son and soon to be daughter-in-law, Jonathan Franklin and Melissa Jones of Dallas, GA; brothers, Jim and Shelby Gable of Marietta, GA and Troy and Harriett Gable of Cedartown, GA; sister, Patsy and Howard McDaniel of Rockmart, GA and five grandchildren.

Services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Brother Scott Pope officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening between the hours of 4:00 and 8:00 p.m.
