Jewell L. Sosebee, age 94, of Austell, GA, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. She was born on April 3, 1921, in Paulding County, GA, to the late Thomas Joseph & Elizabeth Proctor, and was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Willie Sosebee, step-mother, Susie Proctor, nine sisters and seven brothers. Mrs. Sosebee retired from Cobb General Hospital after 40 years of service and was a member of Yorkville Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Danny Wayne & Linda Sosebee of Bremen, GA; sister, Annie Davis of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Melissa & Brad Fain of Waco, GA, and Cathy & Russ Skelton of Lavonia, GA; great-grandchildren, Dana Kay of Oregon, Madison Fain of Waco, GA, and Joseph Fain of Waco, GA; many nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016, at 2 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Rev. Sam Braswell and Rev. Jeremy Hicks officiating. Interment will follow in Yorkville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 24, 2016, from 4 PM until 8 PM.
