James Daniel Gravett, Sr., age 65, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015. He was born on March 17, 1950, in Douglasville, GA, to the late Virgle James Gravett & Geneva Faye Brazle Gravett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Nacinde Faye Dobbins. James served as a pastor at Straightway Full Gospel Church, in Douglasville, GA.

 

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Sharon Campbell Gravett of Hiram, GA; children, James D. Gravett, Jr. & wife, Helen Katrina of Hiram, GA, Chris Gravett & wife, Brandy of Villa Rica, GA, Joseph Gravett of Hiram, GA, and Shannon Gravett of Hiram, GA; sisters, Linda Lollis & husband, Joe of Dallas, GA, Carolyn Moody & husband, Richie of Douglasville, GA; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Gravett will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at 2:00 PM, from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Gerald Gann, Brother Bobby Cheek, & Brother P.J. Ploof officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be, Gerald Lollis, Darrell Millsap, Michael Millsap, Russell Banks, Tyler Gravett and Russell Brewer. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, in Douglasville, GA.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
