Mr. Daniel “Danny” Paul Rooks, age 37 of Dallas, GA, passed away and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 19, 2015.

 

Danny was born on November 8, 1976, in Atlanta, GA, the son of Ms. Renita Ann Killcrease, and the late Mr. Danny William Rooks. Danny worked as a crane operator in the construction business at Anderson Metal Building, Inc. and was a self-proclaimed Christian.

 

Danny is survived by his wife of 6 years, Mrs. Monica Lynn Cannon Rooks, whom he married on August 7, 2009; two daughters, Mr. & Mrs. Alex (Heather Deneice) Baker of Rockmart, and Miss Haley Danielle Rooks of Dallas; two grandchildren, Brayden Darrell Alexander Baker and Cooper Jeremiah Stone Baker, both of Rockmart; Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many other relatives also survive.

 

Danny is preceded in death by his father and his half-brother, Jimmy Rooks.

 

The family will have a private memorial service for Danny on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at 2:00 PM at the “Playground of Dreams”. There will be a special singing done by Miss Haley Danielle Rooks. The address is 775 Industrial Boulevard, Dallas, GA, 30132.
