Mr. Donald Keith Barber, age 62, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at his residence.

 

Keith was born in Dallas, GA, on June 18, 1953, the son of the late William Nolis Barber and Mattie Lee Waters Barber. He had been a resident of Paulding County the greater part of his life and was a graduate of Dallas High School. Prior to his illness, Keith was a construction worker, associated with Southern Champion Construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Keith was a collector of stuff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Judy Diane Greenway Barber.

 

Keith is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Shane Compton of Dallas; a grandson, Dylan Compton, also of Dallas; a brother-in-law, Tony Greenway of Villa Rica, GA. Several other friends and relatives also survive.

 

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Donald Keith Barber will he held on Wednesday evening, July 1, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Cole officiating.
