I can't believe someone hasn't applied for this especially when you hear folks can't find a job. Sounds easy enough with good hours and $8.00 an hour sounds fair for someone young or retired.

I know of several people that have appiled for this postion, and past postions with this bussiness.

** As of today, we are looking to fill this position with someone who can possibly be transitioned to online sales later. This would require some basic computer knowledge. This will be asked in the interview. Thanks! **

Ages 16+ but be advised that we're looking for FULL TIME PERMANENT, so it would not be ideal for a student looking for a summer job, or attending school during the day.

Weeks ago I had a great phone conversation with this company, after about 10 minutes and an interview set, the man asked me if I smoked. (Which I had,t during this conversation)

And I said yes. He said don't bother coming in. I asked really? He said yes do not bother to come in and have a nice day.

Btw, I did let him know that I would not be taking their health insurance as I'm covered under my hubby's, so that is not their excuse. But it is their company and their choice. Still pisses me off, but oh well!

Just an FYI for everyone.

If you've ever been to A&M, you'd understand why they don't want a smoker; i.e. someone who might sneak off in the warehouse to have a puff or two. Frankly there, hiring smokers there would be a fire risk - an easily avoidable fire risk made possible by just not hiring smokers.

Exactly. That place would go up like a tinder box. I LOVE this store!!!! Also, there are MANY, MANY places that won't hire you if you smoke, Hubbys company is one of them.
