Erika Leigh Hayes, age 38, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. She was born on January 25, 1977, in Princeton, KY, and was the daughter of Fred Strange and Janice Triplett. Mrs. Hayes was a student at Kennesaw State University pursuing a degree in childhood education, and attended Spirit Life Church.

 

Survivors include husband of 14 years, Michael Hayes of Hiram, GA; son, James “Cole” Hayes of Hiram, GA; father, Fred & wife Wendie Strange of Douglasville, GA; mother, Janice & husband Arlow Triplett of Daytona, FL; brother Gerred Strange of Bunker Hill, Illinois; sister and brother-in-law, Nicole & Todd France of Acworth, GA; step-brother, Colby Marshall of Douglasville, GA; nieces and nephews and other extended family members in Kentucky.

 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at 1:30 PM, from Spirit Life Church in Powder Springs, GA, with Pastor Raymond Pettitt officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 PM until the time of service.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Cole Hayes College Fund at the Bank of the Ozarks. Donations can be made at any branch in any state or can be mailed to Bank of The Ozarks, 68 First National Drive, Dallas, GA 30157
