Funeral Director Posted May 17, 2015 Report Share Posted May 17, 2015 Mrs. Shirley Jane Baskin, age 81, passed away peacefully at her residence in Powder Springs on Sunday, May 17, 2015. Shirley was born on May 27, 1933 in Belle, Missouri, the daughter of the late Mr. Sylvanus Baker and Mrs. Sara Josephine Crider Baker. A Christian, Shirley was a Baptist Missionary for many years. She is survived by her beloved husband, Mr . Mercein Jackson Baskin; 1 son, Mr. Steven M. Baskin and 3 daughters, Mrs. Valerie Wilburn, Mrs. Sandra Howard, and Mrs. Vickie Wood. She is preceded in death by her parents and 1 daughter, Mrs. Deborah Lee. The funeral service for Mrs. Baskin will be held in Clarksville, Arkansas on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 with Roller Cox Funeral Home in Arkansas handling arrangements there.
