Jeff Gehrig, age 66, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. He was born on November 19, 1948, in Dubuque, IA, to Robert William Gehrig & Marian Raker Gehrig. Jeff traveled to Europe after high school, and was retired from Jones Lang Lasalle, after 17 years. He was devoted to his family & friends, and absolutely adored his wife & children. He always had a positive outlook on life, enjoyed being a stay at home dad, cooking, gardening and photography. Jeff loved the beach, dolphins and visiting Carrabelle, FL.

 

Survivors include wife, Catherine Martin Gehrig of Dallas, GA; mother, Marian Raker Gehrig of Dubuque, IA; sons, Wesley Gehrig of Camp Lejune, NC, William Gehrig of Clayton County, GA, Matthew Gehrig of Dallas, GA; daughter, Ashley Marie Martin of Dallas, GA; brother, Mark Gehrig of Colorado; sisters & brothers-in-law, Janice & Mike Filitti of Clinton, IA, Meg & Shannon Werb of Minneapolis, MN.

 

 

Funeral services for Mr. Gehrig will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015, at 2:00 PM, from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Minister Tony Sherrill officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 8, 2015, from 11:00 AM until the time of service. In accordance to the family’s wishes, the body will be cremated following the service.
