Clark Funeral Home Posted January 8, 2015 Report Share Posted January 8, 2015 Corporal Sam Driskell, age 52, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, along with his wife, Mauchin Driskell and daughter, Carolyn Nicole Driskell. He was born on August 29, 1962, in Powder Springs, GA, and was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Emogene Driskell. He was a retired United States Army Veteran and was employed by Paulding County Sheriff’s Department for the last 10 years. Survivors include his father, Howell Driskell of Hiram, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Allen & Kim Driskell of Hiram, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Teresa & Douglas Britton of Hiram, GA, and Susan Ramey of Acworth; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015, at 11 AM, at West Ridge Church, with Chaplain Joey Meeks officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at West Ridge Church on Sunday, January 11, 2015, from 4 PM until 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Paulding County Cops for Kids, 247 Industrial Way North, Dallas, GA 30132, in memory of Corporal Sam Driskell.
