Recently I was at my Grandmothers house. She had Lasik about 10 years ago. No more glasses. She is going to be 93 in a few weeks. She still drives, but not alone. Her home Church is First Baptist in Smyrna for over 50 years.

She had been reading her Bible when I showed up. She said, "Lordy I am having a hard time reading my Bible. I just know I am going to be back to wearing glasses". It's a 10 Font (Point?). I want to get her another Bible but having trouble finding a 14 font. Researching for a week now, I have learned that when it say's "Large" it is only 12 font. So I have to look for "Giant". Still I cannot find the 14 font. I also recall her saying that she would like a good Study Bible.

I have Googled every which way for a 16 font KJV leather. I have read a lot of reviews as well. Christmas is right around the corner and I need help fast.

I thought I would turn to my fellow P.comers for help. I have googled like I said, Amazon, Ebay, and countless others.

Thank you in advance. And by the way......Hi everyone! Missed you all.

I bet I know your grandmother.
Our family were First Baptist of Smyrna forever.
Good luck with your bible hunt.

LifeWay Shops should have some in stock. They have locations in Marietta/Kennesaw (somewhere near the mall) and Douglasville (by the mall).

Books-A-Million with locations in Acworth-Cobb and Douglasville may have some in stock. LifeWay would be your best bet.

Maybe the folks at the Church will know where you can find one locally?

Good luck!

Edited to add: Just did quick searches, I think it would be good idea to phone the Church. There are too many Bibles out there!

Not only do I know your grandparents, I know your mom or dad.
I grew up around the corner on Lee St and I was your grandparent's paperboy for many years.
I saw your grandmother this year while we were walking around the old neighborhood.
Your grandparents and my family, the Cook family, go waaaay back.

Go to lifeway or Family Christian book store  in Douglasville and you can look at them before you buy them to see which one is the best

FYI - Christianbook.com is a great place for Bibles and Christian books (and the prices are usually cheaper than Lifeway).
