David Allen Duncan, age 55, of Dallas, GA, passed away Monday, September 15, 2014. The son of Dr. Clarence & Jane Duncan, he was born in Clinton, Tennessee, on March 14, 1959. Mr. Duncan worked as a Grocery Manager for The Kroger Company for 31 years, currently at #453 in Powder Springs, GA. He was a Baptist by faith, an avid golfer and a diehard Georgia Bulldog fan. A simple man, he was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend, who was loved by all who knew him. He deeply cherished his moments with family and friends, who were his treasures. Some of his favorite times were spent with Brad, catching the latest movie releases, and golfing with his friends and vacationing with his wife and son.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Darlene Sanders Duncan; son, Bradley Allen Duncan of Dallas, GA; parents, Dr. Clarence & Jane Duncan of Jacksboro, TN; siblings, Rick & Jill Duncan of Kingston, TN, Becky & Homer Sturgill of Jacksboro, TN, Wesley & Kim Duncan of Newland, NC, Wanda & William Estep of Jacksboro, TN, Lora & Lit Roden of Harriman, TN, and Jack Duncan of Jacksboro, TN; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and beloved pets, Cinnamon, Sadie, Harley, and Cooper.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Rick Duncan and Pastor Wesley Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park, with Andrew Davis, Scott Davis, Nick Duncan, Brent Henderson, Homer Sturgill and Mark Sturgill serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, September 18, 2014, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and on Friday, September 19, 2014, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
