Mrs. Shirley Diane Carlile, age 51, of Dallas, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2005. She was born on June 9, 1954 in Cherokee Co. to the late William Terry and Mamie Worsham McWhorter. She was a retired Waitress.

Surviving are her husband Harold Carlile; daughter, Angela Gooden; 2 sisters, Pearl Pryor of Rockmart and Ann Dawson of Blue Ridge; a brother, Samuel G. Corey of South Carolina.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. from the Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Watt officiating. The family received friends on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
