Clark Funeral Home Posted April 24, 2014 Report Share Posted April 24, 2014 Ruth Griffin, age 92, of Dallas, GA, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014. She was born November 21, 1921, in Marietta, GA, and was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Chapman & Nancy Emmeline Chapman, son, Ronald David Griffin and daughter, Linda Ruth Gravett. She was a member of East Hiram Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Fields & Melvin Williams of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Michelle, Cindy, Christy, Kris, Diane, Michael and David; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 27, 2014, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Jason Sweat and Reverend Ricky Sweat officiating. Interment will follow in Powder Springs City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 26, 2014, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
