Clark Funeral Home Posted March 30, 2014 Report Share Posted March 30, 2014 Jim Evans, age 73, of Hiram, GA, passed away on March 29, 2014. He was born on February 21, 1941, to the late Newton and Edna Evans, in Sweetwater, TN. Mr. Evans was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Cochran Ridge Baptist Church. Mr. Evans was self-employed for over 40 years. Survivors include wife of 33 years, Deborah Evans of Hiram; son and daughter-in-law, Brian & Melissa Lawrence of Woodstock, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Kim & Jason Hembree of Hiram, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Bill & Jeri Evans of Apison, TN; grandchildren, Kylie Hembree, Hanna Lawrence, Jake Hembree and Ethan Lawrence; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at 3 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home, with Brother Jeff Childers officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA is in charge of arrangements. www.samclarkfuneralhome.com.
