Mr. Matthew Shane “Mule” Pace, age 43, of Dallas, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

 

Shane was born on October 28, 1970 in Atlanta to loving parents Mr. & Mrs. Robert and Opal Pace. He worked as a Lean Coordinator for Armacell. He loved GA. Tech football, Kyle Busch Racing, and his truck. He was a family man and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his grandchildren.

 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 12 years Mrs. Peggy Pace, one daughter Leah (Chris “Critter”) Smith, two sons Matthew Burton and Tyler Burton; two grandchildren Gracie Smith, and Harmony Pace; father Mr. Robert Pace; and sister Pamela Grubbs all of Dallas; as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Mrs. Opal Pace.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Shane Pace will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 2 pm with Reverend Tim Williams, Reverend Richard Wilkins, and Reverend Terry Elsner officiating. Matthew Burton, Tyler Burton, David Pace, Chris “Critter” Smith, Dan Cowart, Jr., and Dan Cowart, Sr. will serve as pallbearers.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 4 – 9 pm and Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 9 am until the funeral hour.
