From Scheduling the session to ordering the pictures, It has been one issue after another.
Try to call them,(only available M-F by 5pm)they tell me to go on line and use the live Chat,
which is also (only available M-F by 5pm)

The links don't work and if by chance they do... you can't get a live person during the hours you are able to view them. Or there again they tell you how easy it is to go on line and they even offer to send you a link, which is the same link and it still does not work..it will not open.

Offering 20% off in a One Day Offer does not help if you can not get the link to work.

Anyone else frustrated?

I hope your pics are good. My son's hair is a dirty blond but in the pictures his hair is red. I think they are a company that scams people considering I had to pay their sitting fee and I paid the extra for touchups on the pics and then got nothing because the pics were bad. Oh, and they will not refund you any of your money even when their product is bad. Their reviews on the internet are awful.

I only used them for oldest's yearbook photo because I had to.

I am using a local photographer for the rest of his pictures - pm me for her name. She's great - amazing - and very, very reasonable.

There is another thread about this, you can search on Cady and find it.
I've been trying to get my order since July. It has been a nightmare.
I don't know who makes the decisions on what photographer the school uses, but I know we can do better than this. The previous company, TCPix, was so easy to work with and had excellent products. They shot our football games too, and I ordered many, many pics from them with no problems. They always.did what they said they were going to do.
Our school deserves better than this!

My daughter is a freshman and I had trouble with them getting the "free" download after you bought so much. They basically responded the first time telling me how to do what I just told them didn't work (their link)and I got furious and wrote them again and they responded that they "fixed" it. It did work after that. They did not respond to the first email for a few days and then the second one also a few days. The entire exchange took about 10 days.....crazy customer service.

I don't know if anything has changed with the other schools in the county but PCHS was the only school using Cady last year (so I was told). The information that I was provided when I questioned the decision was that Mr. Fincher had made the decision to use them. It was supposedly cheaper than the competitors. I myself also paid the sitting fee when I knew that I would not be purchasing the photos but I was told that the fee was for the photo to be put in the yearbook and my argument was, then why not charge a sitting fee for the freshman, sophomores and juniors? Not to imply anything toward the underclassmen, just stating that no one else pays the fee to have their photo put in the yearbook so why should the seniors. I do not like Cady Studios at all and going with a local professional photographer is so much wiser and cheaper for your once in a lifetime senior photos.

I paid the sitting fee for my senior just for his yearbook picture. One 8x10 is $45 and the cheapest "package" is $129 for (4) 5x7 & (4) 4x6. We too are going the private personal photographer route for his keepsake photos. I know the company has to make a profit but this is rather exorbitant!

I wish I had known :( it really is a once in a lifetime thing and I have messed it all up thanks to Cady.

So I guess the principal makes the decision? I'm going to send an email to him and tell him my experience. Maybe if all of us do that it could help not only our situations but future students as well.

I agree we should ALL let the principal know.

My grandson is a junior this year, and after 5 phones calls I'm still waiting on his pictures, which are paid for. I guess I will be calling again tomorrow. I sure don't want to go through this next year when he is a senior.

I will be emailing the principal.

Also Lowrider, If I were you I would send them a follow up email after you talk to them and get on the record what they said, because they will tell you something and later deny they said it. Every time you talk to them you have to start all over and tell the whole story, they act like it's the first time they've heard of it, even if it's just the next day.

Ya'll need to cc the principal everytime you email this company due to the problems you are having. Don't forget the school is getting a cut of the $$$ to. I'd be asking the principal what the schools cut on this is too.

Good luck with the principle. I spoke to Fincher and the new principle about it and got no where. And yes their the ones that make the decision as to who the school uses. I think the decision should be made at the board of education and the same company used at every school. I don't know if any of you have older children but back when the school system used Lifetouch I never had a problem. I'm not sure why they stopped using them but their still around because that is who does J C Penney's pictures.

I also had an issue with this company. I will never use them. My child is a freshman I wanted to order pictures and was told I had to order a complete package in order to get the extras like the 8x10 or 5x7's I have always ordered several 5x7's from other studios from middle school. This company left a bad taste in my mouth and I will seek a professional to take his pictures in the future. This is what cutting prices does for us a giant headache!

My parents were wedding photographers back when nothing was digital. Even with processing the photos, negative work, etc.. the wholesale cost was VERY little. I know with the technology today that cost is WAY less than it used to be yet prices are WAY higher. The $25 sitting fee that DOES NOT apply to the order is insane. The sitting fee just to be in the yearbook is asinine! What about the kids who can't afford to throw away (which is what they're doing) just for the honor of being in their yearbook? Companies like this is why so many people have turned to private studios and individuals who do this work on the side. I know we did and seems as though a lot of others on here did too. The expenses associated with Sr year are already ridiculously high. My link wouldn't work for the discount either. We're just wanting 1 8x10 for memories sake only.

well, here it is august 2015, and apparently there are still issues with cady studios (how many years has this been going on?)

---  we had an appointment at the acworth office in july, only for them to have one problem after another with the "presentation"  (quit hiring 16 y.o. girls that cannot run basic windows programs) and then we setup another appointment last week for a remote home viewing with relatives.  Well, they did not call at the appointment time (with the access code for online view) & we tried to call the local acworth number and the 800 number to no avail after waiting 15 minutes (the recording said they were closed and there is no way to leave them a message).  I then immediately sent them a support request, and i finally got a response from their help desk today (monday) email stating that the support case was successfully closed!

Where is this company based?

Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented worker" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist".

I guess you haven't been to Detroit recently?  Or, Newark or East St.Louis or Gary, IN, or Stockton, CA?

You know, those bastions of liberal Democrat government that have been so successful in attracting wealthy, educated leaders and businesspeople.  Progressive people,  who have uplifted the poorer of their brethren, so their city can be that bright example of how well Socialism works.

We had MAJOR issues with this company last year.  1) issues when pictures were taken in Acworth (several photographers were on "lunch"); they MADE my son not where his glasses, that he wears daily; 2)  The photo's were off on color (ex.  my hair is brown, in photo's it was red), 3) when I placed my order (via CC), they put unauthorized charges on my card (was eventually returned) 4) AFTER his cap and gown photo's were ordered, we received an email stating they left off the collar in the photo's; 5) Why are we paying shipping fees????  Shouldn't these be delivered to the school, as are the other students photo's??????

Email the school principal.  They forward the complaints to their account representative.  Good luck!  Hopefully they will be GONE by the time my next one is a senior.

Wow my son graduated spring 2015 and had several issues with Cady...why are they still using them?....I can't remember the one they used back in 2012 when my other son graduated...it was a breeze...and not as expensive as Cady is....the price is ridiculous....hopefully if enough parents complain maybe they'll do better....

My daughter wore her glasses for her senior pictures because she wears them everyday all day in real life. The glare on her glasses is terrible in the picture. I paid the $45 retouching fee to have the glare removed and they didn't remove it. I am more than unhappy with this crappy company.I have tried to get the problem resolved but when I call them the wait time is always over an hour.
