If you live here, one of the things you can do is keep your property clean and neat. This improves environmental quality and mental health, and your physical health gets a boost too! If we don't, our children will not be safe or grow up with some idea of the responsibility for community maintenance that we all share. In addition, it will make our homes easier to sell by attracting buyers to pretty neighborhoods. If you are renting, now is the time to learn and practice good property and environmental habits.
If your neighborhood attracted people with undesirable negligence, please let the appropriate authorities know.
For violence or drug related problems (this means criminal), Sheriff’s Office 770-443-3010 is the office to notify.
For high grass or unkempt problems (cars parked on the street, etc), call the Marshall's Bureau at 770-443-9736.

Also, if you are in subsidized housing, show gratitude by contacting the Extension Office for help with budgeting or household management so that when you have an opportunity to work again you will have the skills to manage on your own. If you are unemployed, spend some time retraining at Chattahoochee Tech. And, offer to tutor a child at one of the schools or after-school programs to improve Paulding's graduation rate. Wherever you live, these activities will improve your health and outlook!

I initially read "negligence" as "intelligence" and I'm thinkin', well that's kinda rude! :blush: :lol:

And nice thought, btw.

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;

William Shakespeare, Sonnet 116
