AMANDA DAVIS IS BACK ON FOX5 TONIGHT....

Recommended Posts

I saw the promos for her return a little while ago.

You know she hasn't been back since her DUI arrest back in November, so her "special" message may be about that.

I'm glad she's back. I like her.

I found this

Awwwww.....She announced she is retiring after 26 years with FOX5.

Almost made me cry.

Wednesday's Child was her project, I can see her moving forward with something like that.

If she is found guilty of DUI, I have no sympathy for her at all. Anyone that drives drunk doesn't deserve an ounce of respect.

So easy to say that. But as a decent, understanding human; I am willing to allow the benefit of the doubt after the convicted seek help they require and serve their sentence. You'd be amazed how many people have had DUI's somewhere in their past and have gone on to be upstanding citizens in their community.

I'm not condoning DUI. I also cannot cast judgment.

I just saw it.

I always thought she was a classy lady.

I was saddened to hear of her legal problems.

We never know what problems others are experiencing in their lives.

I feel she exited with class.

I'm glad I serve a loving and FORGIVING God...and not some of you self righteous assholes...

Sad to see her go. I don't usually watch Fox5 but I did like her Wednesday's Child.

Being in an accident with a drunk driver that seriously injures your 2 year old makes you not have alot of compassion for folks who DUI. BTDT.... :angry2:

One of my closest friends was killed in a DUI accident...so I have BTDT... I also know about forgiveness...and not being judgemental. I've never said what she did was right or wrong... or acceptable...

My siblings were adopted at ages 2 and 3; I could never bear to watch Wednesday's Child. I didn't want to cry. :(

I could possibly forgive her for her first reported offense but this is reportedly a 2nd time so she gets no sympathy from me.

I wish I had seen it. I always liked her too. Glad Fox5 had her give an announcement instead of just letting her fade away without any explanation.

Edited to add: mea culpa. I hit reply to the wrong post. My apologies.

IKR?

I hate that people are getting so lazy or yet so fast paced in life they can't type words instead of letters. sometimes I have no clue! To me this is SAD .that we just can't spell it out.

What does BTDT and W. mean?

She is trying to make a point about George W. Bush getting a dui.

I didn't know either until someone above said "Been There, Done That".

With having a career in Social Work I never could watch it either without crying. :(
