Lawson

Mrs. Grace Lawson, age 85, of Dallas, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2005. She was born on February 17, 1920 in Jasper, Georgia to the late Thomas and Sarah Cox. She was a retired bookkeeper. Mrs. Lawson was preceded in death by her husbands, Virgil Greeson and Pete Lawson.

Surviving are her step-son, Lamar Lawson of Virginia; a step-daughter and her husband, Nancy and Ray Blanton of Morrow, GA; nephews, Al and Debbi Cox of Hampton, Harold Cox of Atlanta and Don and Pat Cox of Woodstock; nieces, Sarah and Ray Huddleston of Dallas and Mildred and Al Williams of Steinhatchee, FL.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from Melrose Hills Memorial Park in Villa Rica with Reverend Ray Huddleston officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
