Wild and wooly Presidential Campaign topic of discussion at the PBA Luncheon

[/center]

Georgia's "Super Tuesday" presidential preference primary may be a big deal comes March 6, 2012, the Atlanta Journal Constitution's Jim Galloway said Thursday noon. Galloway was speaking to about 40 folks gathered together at the Paulding Business Association luncheon held at the Hiram Civic Center.

The big deal would be because Georgia promises to be the biggest state in play on Super Tuesday and if former Georgia congressman Newt Gingrich pulls something approaching an upset in neighboring South Carolina Saturday, the race to the GOP nomination probably will not be decided until Super Tuesday or after. And with Georgia being the largest state of those voting on Super Tuesday, the media circus which is the GOP campaign is likely to land right square on us.

Yes ... with Paulding being one of the top most conservative counties in the US and it being one of the state's larger counties, we might be right in the middle of this increasingly bizarre if not wild and wooly campaign. Listen to Galloway's complete remarks and you'll know from which we speak.

Oh, and for those who track such things, Galloway, who has covered politics for the AJC for the last several decades, said the group at the PBA meeting was among the most informed groups with which he has spoken.
