Maybe cold potato salad, to provide a contrast with the chicken spices!

And beer. Very cold.

Red Beans and Rice. Or maybe Pidgeon Peas and Rice... and Ginger Beer to wash it down...

The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure.

It is a sign that the U.S. Government can't pay its own bills.

It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies…

America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.

boiled new potatoes in butter, lemon & parsley
tropical fruit salad

Sweet potato fries or fried plantains and a mixed green salad with a vineagrette dressing.
Sometimes no comment is the best comment.

Red beans and rice and can corn with red and green bell pepers diced in it. Or French fries, garlic bread and baked beans.
