The reset switch on my hot water heater has tripped three times in the last month. After the first 2 times I replaced both elements in it. Then it went about 2 weeks and tripped again. Its 6 years old, anyone know what else I can check?

are you talking about the breaker in the box? If so, it may be bad... or...

Sometimes you can also build up a resistance in the box itself. Pull the breaker in and out a few times to clean off any corrosion that may be there.

No, it's the little red switch on the water heater itself. Breaker hasn't tripped.

Call Daniel 770 833 8218. He can probably give you a couple of things to check over the phone before you have to call someone out.
If you do end up calling someone, we do repair hot water heaters, but call first and see if he can tell you some things to try yourself.
Good luck.
