Toshiba Laptop Recall - Burn Hazard

You can look at the list below to see if this applies to you. The Toshiba announcement is here: http://www.csd.toshi...=2761378&ref=EV Please note that Toshiba's current solution is to put software on your computer (BIOS update for those that are into technical preciseness) that will "immediately disable external power" if the overheating condition exists. This means you are only left with the battery. At that point you contact Toshiba and hope and pray that you have enough battery life left to backup your files to an external device. I would suggest backing up your files prior to installing the update and always making sure you have enough battery life left to backup any new documents should the update discover anytime in the future that the machine is overheating.
