Mrs. Gladys Willene Chambers, age 75, of Dallas, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2005. She was born on March 3, 1929 to the late Price and Lillian Kilgore. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Herbert Chambers.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, James and Elaine Chambers of Dallas, Grady Leonard and Sheila Chambers of Dallas and Jerry Lee and Joyce Chambers of Dawsonville, GA; a daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Reverend Lamar Rackley of Dallas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Dee Kilgore of Union Point, GA, Alfred and Jane Kilgore of Ballground, GA and Billy and Barbara Kilgore of White, GA; a sister, Tiny Lance of Gainesville, GA; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Reverend Lamar Rackley and Reverend Leonard Chambers officiating. The interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens with Mitch Leonard, David Jordan, Chuck Sprayberry, Brian Rackley, Jessie Lawrence and Micah Chambers serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
