Hmmm.... I could make my burn ya twice chili.

I fantasize about my dogs having jobs. I pretend that both of them are window cleaners and their kennel is their first starter home. I think the bigger dog is trying to bump off the smaller dog so he can have the kennel to himself. I know I have a problem, but don't animals have to earn a living too?

Dogs may not be our whole lives, but they make our lives whole.

A dog is not "almost human" and I know of no greater insult to the canine race than to describe it as such.

The more I see of humans, the more I admire dogs.

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

The dog is a gentleman, I hope to go to his heaven, not man's.

The Chili Cook-Off is this Saturday. We would love to see you there. Just make and bring your favorite chili recipe, it will be judged for a prize and in 3 seperate catagories. This is a fundraiser to help support the HHS Baseball Booster club. If you want to just come and taste some great chili then we would be glad to have you too. We are also going to have a game on this day as well as a Home Run Derby. So come on out, catch a game, have some chili and help support a great group of baseball players.
If you have any questions, please contact me or Krista Landmon, info is the in the first post.

Thanks and hope to see ya'll at Hiram High School.

Amy

I make great chili that my family loves, but it's probably the same type chili that everyone else makes. It's good though, and I think I've got some in the freezer that would be very good tonight as a matter of fact!

Yes, I believe it starts at 1:30. I think it's a scrimmage game with Villa Rica.

Thanks. I heard there would be a raffle table. Do you know what any of the prizes will be?

I am not sure of all the prizes available, but one big prize will be a Free 3day/2night vacation package
which includes a choice of 20 destinations to choose from. I believe we also have gift cards and a gift basket filled with great items.

Hope to see you there.

Some new information I jusr received about Sautrday's Chilli Cook Off:

A few notes about this exciting Saturday and Monday:

 • We have been fielding numerous questions concerning the Chili Cook-off. We have made a final decision - there will not be an entry fee for families bringing chili. We will still require the $5.00 ticket to purchase chili. Saying this, the chili will not be judged and prizes will not be awarded. All monies raised by the sale of chili will go to the organization.

 • The Home Run Contest is on; it will follow the scrimmage game on Saturday. If you have any questions, contact Jodie Irwin at jirwin@paulding.k12.ga.us

 • On Monday the Varsity will host Douglas County at 5:30pm and JV travels to Douglas County for a 5:30 pm match up.
