Cochran

Mrs. Irene Cochran, age 79, of Powder Springs, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2004. She was born on February 1, 1925 in Atlanta to the late William and Jessie Spencer. She was a retired housekeeper at Wellstar Cobb Hospital.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Nan Cochran of Powder Springs, Richard and Michelle Cochran of Douglasville and Dennis and Charlene Cochran of Austell; her daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanette and James Johnson of Austell, Cathy and Terrell Newton of Douglasville and Helen and John Briscoe of Franklin, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Hale of Loganville, GA, Lillian and Herman Williams of Hiram and Jeta and James Allgood of Hiram; brothers and sister-in-law, Billie Spencer of Loganville, GA and Carl and Sandra Spencer of Tyrone, GA; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Reverend Randy Newton officiating. The interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA in charge of arrangements.
