We are in the process of buying a home and have had the inspection.

The Inspector showed us that the Porch Support beams are going directly into the ground and are not in concrete. His results indicate that it could lead to premature erosion and termites.

Will this be an automatic failure in a termite inspection? Or would just the presence of termites make it fail?
We really want this house but will not have the money (before we close) to get the porch fixed.

Any help would be appreciated it.

This would be a question best asked to your agent as it could be used in the negotiations.

You do have a "Buyer's Agent" to represent you, right?
2 + 2 = 4
