Mooney

Mrs. Sara F. Mooney, age 91, of Dallas, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2004. She was born on October 28, 1913 in Roopville to the late Britton and Margaret Folds. She was a homemaker and the second oldest member of Mt. Olivet Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Mooney and her son, Joseph Caldwell.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Frank E. Smith Sr. of Dallas; a sister, Mary Bearden of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Maggie Malcolm, Judy Clark and Frank Smith Jr.; Four great-grandchildren; Five great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 26, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Reverend Derrick Fowler and Reverend Wiley Butler officiating. The interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Missionary Baptist Church with Tommy Malcolm, Ron Malcolm, Frank Smith, Steven Smith, Gene Foster and Matt Gurley serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
