Rackley

Mrs. Georgia G. Rackley, age 79, of Dallas, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2004. She was born on June 26, 1925 in Iva, South Carolina to the late Ralph and Ida Gasaway. She was a homemaker and a member of New Canaan Baptist Church and attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Marvin Rackley; sons and daughters-in-law, Reverend Lamar and Dianne Rackley of Dallas and Terry and Judy Rackley of Dallas; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Tony Harris of Dallas; grandchildren, Mindy Sprayberry, Stacey McDaris, Tim Rackley, Jamie Lightner and Brian Rackley; nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. from Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Lamar Rackley officiating. The interment will follow in the New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery with Tim Rackley, Brian Rackley, Chuck Sprayberry, John McDaris, Reverend Don Rackley and Homer Rackley serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram. Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

I'm saddened to hear this. I know Lamar and Diane, and went to school with Terry. She'll be greatly missed.
