Cargle

Mr. James Edward Cargle, age 77, of Douglasville (Paulding Co.) passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2004. He was born on July 14, 1927 in Rome, GA to the late William and Bessie Cargle. He was a retired tree surgeon and was an Air Force and Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Cargle.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Charlotte Kiser Cargle; sons and daughters-in-law, James H. and Gloria Cargle of Newnan, Gary and Katie Cargle of Kennesaw, Arlen Cargle of Rome, James L. and Pam Cargle of Carrollton, Dale and Michelle Cargle of Douglasville and Rickey Cargle of Hiram; daughters, Victoria Aleman of Warner Robins, Teresa Dyer of Marietta and Regina Cargle of Carrollton; a sister, Gaynell Huckabee of Rome; brothers and sisters-in-law, Melvin and Mary Cargle of Kennesaw, Daniel and Dot Cargle of Marietta, Raymond and Ruby Cargle of Smyrna, Marvin and Carolyn Cargle of Woodstock and Reno Cargle of Rome; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Reverend Loran Crowe officiating. The interment will follow in Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
