Mrs. Janie Lou Hyde, age 82, of Dallas, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2004. She was born on December 7, 1921 in Paulding Co. to the late Joseph and Lula Mae Gamel. She was a homemaker and a member of New Liberty Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Patricia Marjean Martin of Hiram; a sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Lewis Gilreath of Dallas; grandchildren, Matthew Ross and Patricia Martin; great-grandchildren, Cody and Jessica Ross and Kelli Freeman.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 25, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. from New Liberty Baptist Church with Reverend Marion Longshore and Reverend Billy Swift officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
