HIRAM, GA 30141 770-445-7133 FAX 770-505-7273 Hunton Major Lamar Hunton, age 55, of Dallas, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2004. He was born on April 22, 1949 in Atlanta to Ivaleen Henderson and the late Calvin C. Hunton. He was the jail administrator for the Paulding Co. Sheriffs Department where he worked for 20 years. He was a member of the Paulding Co. Shrine Club and a Mason. He was a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Debbie Hunton; sons and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Ali Hunton of Dallas and Colby Hunton of Dallas; a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Gus Casto of Austell; grandchildren, Joseph, Kimberly and Andrew Casto and Morgan, Hannah and Logan Hunton. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Reverend Don Rackley officiating. The interment will follow in the New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery with the Paulding Co. Sheriffs Department serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cops for Kids in Lamar Huntons name; Paulding Co.
