Mr. Osara Jackson White, age 80, of Dallas, GA passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2004. He was born on December 16, 1923 in Carroll Co. to the late Andrew and Lula White. He was a member of White Oak Springs Baptist Church and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was retired from General Motors. Mr. White was preceded in death by his son, Stephen J. White.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Katherine Baggett White; sons, William Larry and Becky White of Dallas and Charles David White and Raymond Zavacki of Decatur; a sister, Myra Nell and Roger Watson of Villa Rica; a brother, Buell and Shirley White of Temple, GA; sisters-in-law, Clara Baggett of Dallas and Sue Hunt of Calhoun, GA; grandchildren, Valerie Heal and Kevin White; great-grandchildren, Kylie and Braxton White and Adalyn Heal; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 4, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Rev. Benny Abney, Rev. Andy Fennell and Rev. Johnny Simpson officiating. The interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens with Clay Hunt, Mark Williamson, Tony Watson, Courtney White, Kevin White and Glenn Heal serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA in charge of arrangements.
